Revue majeure qui change de titre après quelques mois d’existence : - Qing nian za zhi. La Jeunesse (1915-1916) - Xin qing nian. La Jeunesse (1916-1926) Elle devient la revue du Parti communiste en 1923. C’est avec la revue “Nouvelle jeunesse” que débute le mouvement anti-traditionnaliste pour la nouvelle culture qui connait son apogée avec le mouvement du 4 mai 1919, nom donné au mouvement nationaliste chinois contre l’occupation japonaise, lorsque 3000 étudiants chinois manifestent place Tian’anmen.
